Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus and Mary:

Incredible, we are already halfway through the month of May, the month of Mary, a month that we dedicate to exalting the virtues of our mother; as Catholic Christians we must have a great love for our lady, because as a mother she always intercedes for us her children; Saint John Bosco said that “devotion and love to Mary Most Holy is protection and a powerful weapon against the wiles of the devil”, so this month let us pray the Holy Rosary more intensely and place all our intentions at the feet of the mother . In this context, this weekend we are going to celebrate the coronation of our Mother, and we will re-consecrate ourselves to her and to her maternal protection. This Sunday in the Eucharist we are going to do this coronation act with a lot of love.

I inform you that the registration for Religious Education for next year is now open, come to the parish office and register your children; Please do not leave it to the last minute, the religious and spiritual education of your children is very important, do it with time, and thus help us to calculate the number of students for the next year 2023-2024.

One of my priorities as your pastor is to work tirelessly for evangelization, and this covers everyone, from children, youth and adults, so I would like to invite you to help me by volunteering as catechists for the coming year. This year we will need more catechists, think if the Lord is calling you to this precious mission.

The 60th anniversary celebration is coming up, as I have announced we will have a potluck, we will all bring something to share, if you want to share something please visit our website and visit the 60th celebration page and there you can let us know what dish you will share. You can also call or come to the parish office and we will be happy to help you. I hope that we all bring a little and share it and thus grow our parish communion.

Finally, I can’t forget that this Sunday is very special, because we celebrate Mother’s Day. Congratulations to all our mothers; I think we will never have enough words to congratulate them, because a mother is a living representation of God’s love in each child, a mother always gives us life, understands us, educates, corrects, guides, forgives and all for love. A mother is the greatest gift that God has given us, so on this day we recognize that gift in all of them and we pray that God protects and keeps them always healthy and those who have already returned to our father’s house We commend them in our prayers. I congratulate all the mothers of the “Queen of Apostles” and I entrust them to my prayers. I hope your children celebrate this day with you and love you more each day. Happy mothers day.

May you all have a happy week and may we continue to enjoy the joy of the risen Jesus.
