Bus Request for Diocesan Pilgrimage


Queen of Apostles Catholic Church will offer bus transportation from the parish to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception for the Diocesan Pilgrimage on Saturday, October 30, 2021. The cost will be $20 per adult and $5 per children under age 12, but must be included in your request when you make your payment to ensure the correct number of seats are reserved. Please provide the bus fee to the Parish Office by October 15 or we cannot guarantee a seat on the parish bus (additional seats may be available after that date but cannot be reserved for you until the Parish Office receives your payment).


TRANSPORTATION: If you would like to take a parish bus to the pilgrimage, please sign up below and indicate the number of additional people in your family who will need bus transportation (please indicate the number of adults and children under 12, where requested).


NO BUS NEEDED: If you plan to attend but will be taking your own transportation, please sign up. However, you will need to select “display alternate name” and write “(no bus)” next to your last name. If you do not write “no bus” with your last name we will count you as a bus request. You may also just click the email link on this SignUpGenius and inform Clarisa Meza Negrete of your intent to attend the pilgrimage but do not need transportation.
Box Lunch Request for Diocesan Pilgrimage


Bag lunches are recommended for the Diocesan Pilgrimage to The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception for the Diocesan Pilgrimage on Saturday, October 30, 2021.


The Shrine cafeteria will be closed; however, a Chick-fil-A box lunch can be purchased for $10. There is the option of selecting either a regular Chicken sandwich meal or a veggie wrap. Each meal includes: entrée, Chick-fil-A sauce, bag of potato chips, fresh baked chocolate chip cookie, mint, bottle of water, napkin, and hand wipe.


If you plan to purchase a box lunch, it is recommended that you preorder the lunch through this parish SignUpGenius, otherwise there is the possibility that box lunches could run out before you are able to purchase a lunch on the day of the pilgrimage. The Parish Office must receive your payment for the box lunch by October 15. Please also indicate your specific choice of chicken or veggie wrap to the Parish Office when paying (i.e., for a family of 4 the order might be “3 chicken, 1 veggie”).


Note: Please make sure to select your choice of meal and the number of lunches you would like to purchase.
