Announcement re: School Principal
June 11, 2019
Dear School Families:
Queen of Apostles learned on June 10 that our principal of two years, Mrs. Jodi Reagan, would be stepping down to pursue a career opportunity that would bring her closer to family out-of-state. We thank Mrs. Reagan for her service to our school community and wish her the best of luck in her new endeavors. She leaves Queen of Apostles in high regards and with fond memories.
Responding promptly to this news and with great care for the school, I have asked Mrs. Arias, Head of the Middle School, to assist in the transition, with support from David Cook, the Parish Director of Operations and Stewardship. During this last school year both have worked with Mrs. Reagan and myself in the vision and strategic planning of the school. We built a strong team that will be able to offer robust support for a gentle transition into new leadership both in the Parish and the School.
We are working with the assistance of the Office of Catholic Schools in setting up the process of hiring a new principal. I have full trust in Anne Arias and Dave Cook to lead successfully with the Pastor this process and to transform it into an opportunity to continue improving and growing our school.
As we look forward, we entrust our efforts, as we do always, to Mary, Queen of Apostles, our Patroness.
Fr. Leopoldo M. Vives, dcjm
